Our Advanced Backup account is designed to protect your data as you grow. By sharing a pool of data between all your devices you’re not penalized when you add employees. All you have to do is install the software, there’s no cost per machine.
If you have specialized needs, like a mail server, you can add that module independently. By offering these kinds of modules al la carte it enables us the keep the total cost of the service very low.
The Advanced Backup account has all the advantages of the Professional Backup account in terms of unlimited file sizes and file types. If your entire office were to be lost due to ransomware or flood you can rest assured your data will be safe and ready to be quickly restored.
About Versions
Our software checks for file changes continually. When you save a file we detect it and copy it to our servers. The difference between how you save it and how we save it is this: you keep only the new version saved, but we keep both the newly saved version and all previous ones.
This is invaluable if a file is corrupted or attacked by a virus. You can rescue an earlier version of the file, usually with minimal loss of information. Keeping every new version doubles, triples, quadruples etc. the amount of data saved on our servers with each version, but it’s a vital part of your service.
With Advanced Backup you can add unlimited computers and unlimited drives which share the same data pool. Because you are generally backing up only working files costs will typically not increase when new employees are added. The accounts are differentiated by the amount of storage included in order to accommodate small businesses of all sizes.
For an additional fee, server modules for specialized backup and 24/7 pro support can be added. These features, which are included in Pro accounts, are generally not needed by small business. Offering them a la carte makes the low cost of our Advanced account possible.
